I attended Barcamp Orlando yesterday and it was a huge success! I was only able to be there for a short period of time but I was able to attend talks on the technology behind Izea's Social Spark, a CMS panel (Drupal, Expression Engine, Wordpress & Joomla) and a discussion on Orlando's technology presence, past, present and future.

Special thanks to the Social Spark guys who took the time to talk in further detail about Edge Side Includes (while integrating with Content Delivery Networks) over lunch.

I've your into technology and have never attended your local Barcamp I would highly recommend it, it's free, you'll learn something and it's a great networking opportunity (and this year it was actually hosted in a bar. Actually three bars!)
