I am new to this. I am Using Linux and it seems the only download for Linux is FormMail.pl (Version 1.92 ) Though looking at the scripting quoted in the forums for the PHP version I as a novice don't see any difference.

Anyway I am trying to get FormMail to work and I keep getting
"Error 500!

/cgi-bin/FormMail.pl
Internal Server Error! "

My web host says
The problem with your script now is, that you probably uploaded it in
"text" mode instead of "binary" mode.
Now it has 013 character at the end of each line. It won't work this
way."

None of the editors I have show any numbers at the end of lines and I uploaded the script through my ftp program which is set on Binary.

My host is off line at present and I am getting nowhere fast so I am wondering if someone can help me get started?
